Change your pillowcases once a week. Your pillow can accumulate oils, sweat, and dust from daily use, which can lead to break-outs we don't want!
Wash your pillows once a month or every other month. Your pillows will need some cleaning too, and it's less often since the pillowcase will catch most of the oil, sweat, and dust.
Clean those make-up brushes and pads regularly. I recommend cleaning them every time you use them.
But also, don't over-hydrate. Water is very much needed by your body for all the magical processes that happen in there! Helping your body do its job (such as getting rid of toxins and healing) = better skin!
Do not rub in.
When touching your skin (especially the face), do not rub in products or even your towel. Gently apply the products onto your face and then tap them until absorbed. You don't want to irritate your skin and cause damage.
Balanced diet and exercise!
You probably hear this a lot, and it may seem like a common sprinkle-on-top kind of tip, but taking care of your body from the inside can do wonders on the outside. Getting all the nutrients your body needs and getting your blood pumping will help your skin glow!
A balanced diet does not have to be boring; You can still have donuts and bubble tea, as long as the input is balanced by the output. I like to think of it as exercising for that next cup of bubble tea ;).
I know it is so hard to make time for exercise, BUT I found this workout routine that is just 10-minutes and it is definitely worth a try! It's called Emi Wong's 2-Week Workout Program. It doesn't have to be just for 2 weeks either! I've been doing this workout for almost 3 months now and I like that it's just 10 minutes per day, the exercises are easy, and I don't need to go out of my apartment! AND if you're a K-POP fan, she also has workouts for K-POP music and that alone gets me pumped up to wake up in the morning to exercise.
